Jack Heiman didn't start with a building full of employees or a fleet of service vehicles. He started with a route — a list of farms, grain elevators, and small businesses across northwest Iowa that needed their fire extinguishers serviced. He showed up on time, did the work right, and came back when he said he would.
That was the whole business model. Decades later, it still is.
The company has grown and moved with the region — we're now based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, serving businesses, schools, and facilities across the area. The equipment has changed too — we now service kitchen hood suppression systems, paint booth suppression, fire alarm systems, and more. But the ownership is the same, and the standard of service is the same one Jack established on that first Iowa route in 1947.
